Can you clarify your point Arnold? How do you think that photos of the North Pole prove that the earth is flat?
The sun proves the Earth is flat and static because during full moon rising at night the sun is already blocked by the Earth and therefore it has no impact on the moon otherwise the surface of the earth would also be illuminated as the full moon rises. Also throughout history there is records that eclipses occurred while both the sun and the moon were observable above the horizon which would be impossible on the globe model since you need perfect linear alignment for a eclipse to occur. Also half way after the New Moon Phase when sun catches up to the moon, the moon’s crescent no longer matches the sun’s vintage point.
That explanations makes no sense Philippe. Though the sun has set over the horizon so that we can’t see it, the moon is still in its path. The ironic part is that on the flat earth, the sun would have to be striking the moon to illuminate it, while the sky and earth below it is dark. This is why most FE’s deny that the sun illuminates the moon, which is goofy because we can clearly see the relationship of the orientation of the sun and moon.
