This website exposes the flat earth deception and proves that the earth is globe shaped.
Nathan Roberts of FlatEarthDoctrine posted a video called “Moon debunks Globe.”
In the video he says that there’s a full moon, but he live-streamed the video on 05/16/19, and the full moon is not until 05/18/19. Fail!
Nathan Roberts says that this proves that the earth is flat and that the sun doesn’t illuminate the moon.
The irony is that it’s really easy to see how the sun illuminates the moon:
The waxing crescent moon appears shortly after sunset. Then every evening at sunset, the moon is 1/14th further east in the sky, and it’s 1/14th more illuminated.
7 days after the crescent moon, the moon is overhead and half of it is illuminated. 14 days after the crescent moon, the full moon is rising in the east at sunset. The direct relationship is obvious.
Nathan Roberts cites Messiah’s Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24, which says that the moon shall not give her light.
First of all, Messiah was not proclaiming that the moon not giving her light was an everyday occurrence, so it doesn’t prove that the moon provides its own light.
Second of all, Messiah was using the symbolism of the sun and moon to point to the time in 70 A.D., when the Roman army desolated the temple, Jerusalem and the Jews, causing 1.1 million Jews to die in and around Jerusalem from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, crucifixion and by the Roman sword. The Jewish High Priest (sun), the Sanhedrin (the moon) and the priests (the stars), were either killed or taken captive and sold as slaves. So indeed, the sun, moon and stars were darkened.
So Messiah wasn’t even talking about the actual moon, which invalidates Nathan’s statement.

Nathan Roberts says that a laser thermometer proves that the sun doesn’t illuminate the moon.
He’s assuming that the moon reflects the heat spectrum of the sun, so his reasoning is that places where moonlight hits should be warmer than places that are out of the moonlight.
But that’s ignorant, as the moon reflects the light wavelengths of the sun, but not the infrared radiation which causes heat.
In the video Nathan Roberts said that we always see the same side of the moon.
Wow! That is a proof that the earth is a globe, not flat! How does Nathan not understand that?
Nathan Roberts says that he can zoom in with his Nikon P1000 and see the details of the moon.
Then he should be able to see the shadows in the craters of the moon, which prove that it’s being illuminated by an external light source.
He should be able to see that the craters on the edge of the moon, which are oval-shaped, proving that the moon is a globe.
He should be able to see that the moon stays the same size all the way across the sky, and that it rises from below the horizon, and sets below the horizon; all of which proves that the earth is a globe.
Nathan Roberts’ mindset is that everything proves that the earth is flat, so he can’t see clearly. How people blindly believe his explanation, I have no idea.
Not only is he wrong about the moon, but the 240 Bible verses that Nathan cites to proclaim that the “Bible says Flat Earth!,” are taken out of context.
