This website exposes the flat earth deception and proves that the earth is globe shaped.
Nathan Roberts of FlatEarthDoctrine posted this video called ‘#5: Bible Says Flat Earth, prove me wrong’
At about the 30 minute mark, Nathan Roberts cites Luke 3:3-6, and he proclaims that it’s declaring that the earth is flat.
“And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins; As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.”
The verses are obviously not talking about real paths, valleys and mountains; which become flat. It’s proclaiming that John the Baptist came to pave the way for Messiah, to preach repentance, so that the Jews were prepared when the promised Messiah appeared.

In this video you cited Luke 3:3-6, and proclaimed that it’s describing a flat earth. Those verses are obviously not talking about real paths, valleys and mountains. It’s proclaiming that John the Baptist came to pave the way for Messiah by preaching repentance, so that the Jews were prepared when the promised Messiah appeared. It’s the fulfillment of the prophecy in Isaiah 40:3-5. The symbolism is pointing to people in low places (valleys), the beggars, the poor, the lame, etc.; and the people who are exalted in society (mountains and hills), the rich, the Jewish leaders, etc.; who all need redemption through Messiah, which is why John the Baptist preached repentance, to prepare the way. These verses have have nothing to do with the shape of the earth. FlatEarthDoctrine replied and only gave a link to his website. He can’t prove that I’m wrong, so he just posted a link. How sad is that?

@FlatEarthDoctrine Yeah, that’s typical of you. When someone presents a valid argument, you can’t see it and/or concede the point; and you are incapable of having a rational discussion. I understand how flat earthers get misled about the firmament and the circle of Isaiah 40:22; but there is no mistaking what Luke 3:3-6 is about.
It is not declaring that the earth is flat. And the fact that Nathan Roberts can’t see the truth, even after I explained it very clearly to him, shows you that he is mind-controlled. He is so biased in his view, that he can’t see truth.
Messiah’s reference to Esaias applies today, to people who believe that the earth is flat:
“And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:” Matthew 13:14
