Nathan Roberts Flat Earth Doctrine Luke 17:34-35 Is Not A Flat Earth Verse

This website exposes the flat earth deception and proves that the earth is globe shaped.

Nathan Roberts posted this video on his Flat Earth Doctrine YouTube page, titled ‘Luke 17:34-35: KJV (sexes) vs Matthew’s Bible 1537 ed. (no sexes)’

What’s the point of reading both Bible versions if they are basically the same? It’s not like they’re giving a different message, which proves something.

It would seem that Nathan Roberts is posting videos about the Matthew’s Bible 1537 Edition to try to give it credibility, as it uses the words ‘flat earth’ in 2 Samuel 11:11

Nathan proclaims that “the Bible says flat earth!” and the 1537 Matthew’s Bible does indeed use those words, but the question is, what’s the context?

David had slept with Bathsheba while Uriah and his soldiers went forth to battle. When David found out that she’s pregnant, he tried to get her husband Uriah to go home to sleep with her, so that it would seem that he’s the father.

But Uriah refused to sleep in the comfort of his home and to sleep with his wife, while his soldiers camped in the open fields away from their homes and wives. The context is men camping in tents in an open field, and it has nothing to do with the shape of the earth.

It’s a shameful premise that David tried to get Uriah to sleep with his wife, and it’s a shameful premise that Nathan Roberts uses this verse to proclaim that “the Bible says flat earth.”

Nathan takes many verses out of context to promote his flat earth beliefs.
