The irony of Nathan Roberts posting this verse is that I cover it in a study that I’m working on. Job 26:7 says “He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.”
The north is pointing to the North Star which is at the top of the celestial sphere of stars which surround the globe earth, which is hung on nothing in the middle of the curtain of stars.
Our Heavenly Father’s throne is above the North Star, and Lucifer sought to take power.
Isaiah 14:12-14 says, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.”
Nathan Roberts fails to understand the proper context of Scripture, for Isaiah 14:12-14 is pointing to the celestial sphere of stars which surround the geocentric globe earth.
