This website exposes the flat earth deception and proves that the earth is globe shaped.
Nathan Roberts of FlatEarthDoctrine has been posting a video series called ‘Bible Says Flat Earth, prove me wrong’.
In each video he says that he’s waiting for anyone to post a verse which proves that the earth is a globe. And on each of his five videos, I have commented with the following explanations:
Nathan Roberts has basically ignored my comments. His only response has been “I’ll let this slide…only cause I then get to do this: https://www.flatearthdoctrine.com/flat-earth-scriptures/”
Maybe he’s afraid that Ecclesiastes 1:6 will prove him wrong, so he’s not taking a serious look at it. But Nathan Roberts is being dishonest with his viewers when he says that nobody has given him a verse which proves that the earth is a globe.
At this point, I doubt that Nathan can admit any verse; because it would cause a crack in his flat earth theory. The more a person has invested in their beliefs, the less likely they’re able to comprehend things that are contrary to their beliefs.
In Nathan Roberts’ case, he has books, t-shirts, YouTube videos, a Facebook page, etc.; all dedicated to his belief that the earth is flat.
I believe that the globe is geocentric, so I don’t believe that any verses says that it’s in a perpetual state of motion.
Ecclesiastes 1:6 is only possible on the globe earth, as the wind can only go in a circuit from south to north on a globe. It goes south to the south pole, and then is turned north to the north pole, and then is turned south again; in a circuit, just like the verse says.
The wind cannot make a clear circuit on the flat earth, as the wind would run into the glass dome, and deflect and spread around; with no clear path back north to the north pole, and then back south, to continually complete its circuit.
The irony is that no Bible verse says that there is a glass dome. And no verse says that the earth is flat.
Flat earthers twist verses to make it seem like they point to a glass dome over a flat earth, but they are taking those verses out of context.
