What a jerk! It’s a good thing that man had restraint, because many people would have beat Nathan for mocking them like that.
The saddest part is that Nathan Thompson is an arrogant jerk for nothing, because the earth isn’t flat.

SciManDan posted a video called ‘Zetetic Astronomy is not a Science – The Earth is Not Flat’.
The video description says: So Nathan Thompson of the Facebook Group “Official Flat Earth and Globe Earth discussion” thinks he is a scientist. I explain to him nicely that he is no such thing. I also completely dismantle his arguments in this video. I have since been booted twice from his group and now cannot even find the group on Facebook. Shame, I’m sure his devoted followers would have loved to seen him destroyed.
Nathan Thompson says that the flat earth is called the geocentric model, which is incorrect.
The flat earth is not geocentric, as the planets and universe are not revolving around it, but above it in a relatively small dome.
Nathan points out that people on the North Pole would have a different perspective from people on South Pole, but we all see the same side.
The irony is that on the flat earth, people would see different sides of the moon.
Nathan points out that a polished ball reflector has a spectral highlight, where an external light shines on one small part, and doesn’t illuminate the whole ball.
But nobody ever said that the moon is a polished, shiny ball. And we can clearly see by the shadows in the craters that it’s being illuminated externally.
Nathan Thompson then uses a white golf ball, which ironically shows the side that’s lit and the dark side; which proves that it’s being illuminated by an external light source. LOL!
The sun is a giant nuclear reactor, so it’s not just an ordinary light. The moon reflects about 12% of the sun’s light, which is pretty poor; but at night when it’s dark, the 12% is a perfect brightness.
Then Nathan points to places that are not exposed to moonlight being cooler than places that are in the moonlight.
This is due to radiative cooling. The area that’s not in the moonlight is being blocked somehow, from a roof awning, the side of a building, a tree, etc. Those structures act as a barrier which prevents heat from radiating out, so the temperature is warmer.
Then Nathan Thompson points to his shirt and says that the U.N. logo is a flat earth map.
The irony is that in the background on the wall in Nathan Thompson’s video is a Gleason’s New Standard Map Of The World, which is a north polar azimuthal equidistant projection of the globe earth. It’s filed under US Patent No. 497,917; which reads, “The extorsion of the map from that of a globe consists, mainly in the straightening out of the meridian lines allowing each to retain their original value from Greenwich, the equator to the two poles.”
From the patent description, we know that Gleason was in full knowledge that the map he created was simply a projection of the spherical earth.

Flat earth zealot Nathan Thompson posted on Facebook that he was putting flat earth cards on the SpaceX sign.
His shorts are way down and his butt is sticking out of his shorts, because before the pictures were taken, he says that he was fake peeing on the SpaceX sign. Just wow!
He then modified the image to drop the f-bomb. Double wow!
All of that from a supposed Christian!

Scripture points to a geocentric globe earth, but not a flat earth
I shared my Biblical Proofs Of The Geocentric Globe Earth study with Adam Joseph Doughty a few days ago, which proves that the circle is not pointing to the earth, but to the ecliptic circle.
So it’s hard to believe that Adam Joseph Doughty is now saying that the ‘circle’ of Isaiah 40:22 is a group of people. That is not the context at all!
Isaiah 40:22 is proclaiming that the circle of the earth stretches out the heavens as a curtain and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in. This is what Elohim is sitting upon, the Mazzaroth of stars with proclaim the Gospel message on the ecliptic circle, which surrounds the globe earth.
“It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in”
How Adam Joseph Doughty, Rob Skiba, Nathan Roberts and Nathan Thompson, are all missing this, I have no clue!
Isaiah 40:21 is clearly pointing to the stars!
“Did you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?”
Isaiah 40:26 is clearly pointing to the stars!
“Lift up your eyes on high and see. Who has created these? He who is bringing out their host by number, He calls them all by name, by the greatness of His might and the strength of His power – not one is missing.”
The same Hebrew word, chuwg, is used in Job 22:14 to describe the circuit of heaven, proclaiming that Elohim walks in the circle of heaven, not on the circle of a flat earth.
“Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit(chuwg) of heaven.”
This matches Isaiah 40:22, that Elohim sits and walks on the circuit (circle) of heaven. He is not sitting or walking on the circle flat earth, or a globe earth for that matter.
In Psalm 19:1-6, David described the sun travelling through the circuit (the line of the ecliptic), through the constellations of the mazzaroth, which are a tabernacle (tent); proclaiming the Gospel message.
“The heavens are proclaiming the esteem of Ěl; And the expanse is declaring the work of His hand. Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, and there are no words, Their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He set up a tent for the sun, And it is like a bridegroom coming out of his room, It rejoices like a strong man to run the path. Its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end; And naught is hidden from its heat.”
So we can clearly see that Elohim is referring to the circle of the ecliptic, which acts as a constant witness to those on earth, about His great power, and about His redemption plan.
The irony is that Nathan Roberts proclaims the flat earth gospel, but the truth is that the Gospel has been written in the constellations of the Mazzaroth since creation; and they are on the ecliptic that encircles the globe earth.
Talk about missing the mark!
Adam, if you’re going to battle against these flat earthers, get the explanations right; because otherwise you’re just giving them ammunition against you.
