Nathan Roberts Earth is FLAT like a MAT Book Review

This website exposes the flat earth deception and proves that the earth is globe shaped.

Nathan Roberts made a post in the Official Flat Earth & Globe Earth Biblical Discussion Facebook group, about his book titled ‘Earth is FLAT like a MAT!’

Nathan commented “And the Globe Troll attacks begin on my 1st children’s book, Earth is FLAT like a MAT!:’ but when you read the review, you see that the person didn’t give the book a 1-star because they’re a glober, but because the book is not so great.

Nathan makes a number of false claims here. There are a dozen childrens books on Flat Earth directed at kids. Theresa Martin’s Flat Earth Round earth is much better illustrated. Flat Earth book for KIDS, Flat Earth Creator coloring book. The list goes on. Like it or not there is even a another Flat Earth book called Earth is Flat like a Mat listed as by Nathan Roberts which is also better illustrated but it costs more.

I learned about this book shortly after watching Nathan use Isaiah 44 to teach there is a “giant nose” at the north pole. It is the largest mountain on earth. Bigger than K2 or Everest. Even though many people have been to both north poles and have never seen it. I think Great Nose of the North is a better children’s story and hopefully Nathan’s second book will be better. I bring this Giant Nose theory up because even Flat Earth parents care about using the scriptures correctly.

Anyone reading Isaiah 44 is god expressing his contempt for foolish people who sculpt idols of wood and metal. But Nathan twists the scripture to make God into the detestable sculptor. And unfortunately most of his scripture references in the book misrepresent the intent of the verses in a similar way. I’d support this book if it really used scripture verses to represented what God wanted to say about Flat Earth. The verses meanings speak for themselves. The shouldn’t be form fitted to a message that on closer examination will risk hurting the credibility of the message you want to deliver.

Nathan is a sincere sweet guy but he’s also first time author making typical mistakes he’ll be embarassed by later. I am sure this won’t be his last children’s book on the topic. If you are going to get the book anyway, get the hard copy format on his website as you want to be bonding with your child in way only a hard copy of a book can do.

Nathan Roberts can’t even see that Robin is not arguing that the earth is a globe; so his claim that the review is an attack from a globe troll lacks integrity.

Robin gave it 1-star because she didn’t like his explanations about the flat earth.
