Flat earthers proclaim that the globe earth model causes people to dismiss that there is a Creator, and that we evolved on a planet that supported life.
The irony of Paul Raines meme is that it shows the precision of the universe, that the moon is located in the exact location in the 93 million miles between the earth and the sun; to be able to hide the sun, as they appear to be the same size from our perspective on Earth.
There is practically no chance of that happening by accident, so it proves that there is a Creator who designed the universe and made everything fit perfectly.
The sun is the perfect distance from us, to keep Earth in the proper temperature range for humans.
The moon is the perfect distance from us, which helps affect the tides and stir the waters of the Earth.
The angle to the sun during the year creates the seasons, the yearly cycle of the Earth.
The universe testifies to a Creator, people just ignore the witness.
The amazing human body testifies to a Creator, people just ignore the witness.
In the Official Flat Earth & Globe Discussion facebook group, which Nathan Roberts is the admin; my name came up when someone posted my Biblical Proofs Of The Globe Earth study, to rebut Nathan.
Nathan proceeded to say that I am a shill, saying “He is nothing more than a user account who published a website that twists God’s Word in favor of man-made philosophies and delusions. Yeah…it’s (“David Nikao”) just a “user account”…no evidence of a real person behind it.”
The person asked, “Are you implying he’s a bot?”
Nathan replied with “I’m implying there’s no evidence otherwise. I wish he’d show his face. Right now he hides behind his user account and spews lies and deception!”
Then Kan Ev Art chimed to say “This David guy is actually a new Age gnostic fool – anyone who refers to Yashua/Jesus as the Sun is an Antichrist. The funniest thing was: “…not every line is straight.” Lol”
Nathan Roberts asked: “Kan Ev Do you have articles or screenshots of David’s statements that prove his gnostic beliefs? Please share with me.”
Kan Ev Art said: Nathan it’s in plain sight. Here are a few screen shots that prove he’s referring to Jesus as the Sun and portrays the Bible not as literal story but as the story of the stars. And we all know very well: “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” 2 John 1:7 KJV

He obviously does not understand the context of the verse that he is citing. The sun in prophecy is pointing to the leader, as in the Roman Emperor.
Malachi 4:2 proclaims that ‘The Sun of Righteousness’ is Messiah. There’s nothing gnostic about that statement. Messiah is our righteous leader, He is our sun.
“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”

You that fear my name – The persons mentioned in the sixteenth verse of the preceding chapter, ye that look for redemption through the Messiah.
The Sun of righteousness – The Lord Jesus, the promised Messiah; the Hope of Israel.

The point is that just like the Sun of Righteousness is pointing to Messiah, who is righteous; the ‘sun’ of prophecy is pointing to a leader; so it is not pointing to the actual dimming of the sun, which Nathan Roberts implied in his supposed flat earth Bible verse list.
Case in point is the 4th Trumpet of Revelation, which happened after the decline of the Roman Empire due to the seal judgments; and the previous armies attacking the Roman Empire due to the previous three trumpet judgments.
4th Trumpet – The Sun, Moon and Stars symbolizes leadership structure. Here it represents God using Odoacer and the Heruli, a branch of the Goths, to cause the downfall of Roman leadership when Romulus Augustalus, the last Roman Emperor (the Sun) of the West was captured in 476 A.D. The hierarchy of Roman leaders (moon and stars) would have lost their power too.

So we can see that flat earther Kan Ev Art has no clue what he is talking about in regard to the Sun of Righteousness, and the prophecy usage of the word ‘sun’.

On 02-13-18, Nathan Roberts tagged me on a post on the Facebook group: The Real Flat Earth vs Globe Earth; which pretends to be an open discussion group to debate whether the earth is flat or a globe; but it is really a flat earth group that pushes their beliefs on others, and is incapable of having a rational discussions.
Larry Emery had commented with the following picture, noting that the horizon does not rise up to the eyes. This proves that the horizontal line, on which the Globe Earth Curvature Formula is based; is not the same thing as the horizon line.
We can see that in this image.
Nathan Roberts responded to Larry’s comment with derision, proclaiming that he was deceiving people with his photo. Of course that is absurd because the photo was taken directly behind the two water levels.
Then Nathan Roberts deleted Larry Emery’s image and explanation.
Nathan Roberts has no integrity. Instead of letting people in the group look at Larry’s image and decide for themselves, he deletes things that counters his flat earth explanations.
Larry provided a great idea with the water level device, to prove that the horizon line and the horizontal line are not the same thing. I may build one and take pictures.
I also use the iPhone Theodolite app to prove it out.

On 01-21-18, Paul Raines shared this meme on the Facebook group: The FLAT out TRUTH & no BALL face LIES.
Paul Raines declared that there is no curve and all you have to do is zoom in to see the boat.
The irony of his post is that most of the boat’s hull is hidden by the water, proving that the earth is curved.
You can’t even see the back part of the boat, as the deck and hull are totally hidden by the water.
The boat is disappearing from the bottom up, just like we expect that it would on a curved earth.
I’ve noticed that flat earthers zoom in on boats that are a couple of miles out, so that they can say that all you have to do is zoom in to see the boat again.
But you won’t see them doing that with boats that are 10 miles out, because they are out of sight, even with a telescope; as the bulge of the curved earth is hiding them.
Just more proof that Paul Raines is either a troll who is deceiving people about the flat earth, or that he is blind; as his meme proved that the earth is curved.
On 01-18-18, Paul Raines shared this post about Isaiah 40:22, to the Facebook group: The FLAT out TRUTH & no BALL face LIES.
The ‘circle’ in Isaiah 40:22 is not describing the shape of the earth, so the debate about whether it’s pointing to a flat circle earth or a globe earth is the wrong context.
“It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:”
The ‘he’ is our Creator. Do we really think that the Father is sitting on the flat earth circle? Or the globe earth? No!
He is declaring that the works of man are nothing as compared to His creativity and power. Then He points out His Mazzoroth, the twelve signs in the circle of the Mazzoroth, which have proclaimed His plan of redemption from the beginning.
Did you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? Isaiah 40:21
The CIRCLE in Isaiah 40:22 is the Mazzoroth in the sky above, that has 12 constellations in a circle on the ecliptic, which declare the Gospel.
It is like a curtain which covers the earth, and in which the stars dwell. It’s a tabernacle (tent) in which the Father dwells.
We see that Elohim tells Isaiah to look up to the circle of the stars of the Mazzoroth.
Lift up your eyes on high and see. Who has created these? He who is bringing out their host by number, He calls them all by name, by the greatness of His might and the strength of His power – not one is missing. Isaiah 40:26
The Father sits in the heavens, on the circle of the Mazzoroth, which surrounds the globe earth.

Any genuine person who is trying to prove that the earth is flat, and is wanting to show the true size of the sun through hazy clouds; knows that they need to use a solar filter, which allows us to see the distinct edges of the sun.
Obviously a solar filter was not used on the images that Paul Raines posted, because the distinct outline of the sun is lost due to sun flare in the hazy sky.
What really stands out is that there is no way that the sun changed that much in size so quickly.
Looking at the left image, if the sun is that close to horizon, it will be below the horizon in less than 30 minutes.
Are we supposed to believe that the sun changed that much in size in 30 minutes? Sorry, that’s not possible.
If it did actually did change that much in 30 minutes, think about how enormous it would have appeared five hours earlier at midday. 😛
If you look at the red line that I put across the image, you see that the bottom of the flared sun did not move down.
But we know by watching sunsets, that the sun continually moves down as it sets, so that means that something was done to manipulate the images that Paul posted.
I can’t prove it with those small pictures, but it appears that the image on the left was taken with the camera zoomed in, to make the sun look bigger. Then for the middle image they zoomed out, to make it look smaller. Then for the right image they zoomed out more, to make it look really small.
That would account for the bottom of the sun not moving down, as the photos were taken in a short amount of time.
To prove the point that the sun stays the same size throughout the day, Wolfie6020 has taken pictures of the sun during the day, using a solar filter on his camera.
To prove the point that the sun stays the same size and moves continuously, here’s a time lapse video of the sun setting.
So once again we can clearly see that Paul Raines has misled people with a flawed explanation about the supposed flat earth.

There’s a big different between someone who is a troll, who is knowingly deceiving people; and someone who observes what flat earthers are discussing, and is seeking to help people see the truth about the shape of the earth.
The irony is that the explanation that Paul Raines posted about me on Facebook, will clearly prove to you that he is either a flat earth troll, who is deceiving you; or he is blind.
He commented about a meme on this website, which points out that an airplane can’t head east and then just go straight to continue traveling east, because then it would be heading southeast on the supposed flat earth map.
Instead they would have to continually adjust their path to the north, to continue heading east.
In other words, east doesn’t travel in a straight line on the flat earth model, it curves to the north, in a circle around the flat earth.
I know, it’s a ridiculous concept, right? Because in the real world, one can head east and then travel in a straight path, and they are still heading heading east.
Paul added his comments and his explanation to supposedly debunk my flat earth map explanation.
Below is the same image of the flight patterns on the supposed flat earth map that Paul used; but it is larger and brighter, so that you can see the flight paths better.
Note: I had to flip it horizontally, as Paul’s image had the continents on the wrong side of each other. South America was southwest of North America, instead of southeast. Small detail! 😛
Paul says that planes just fly in a straight path from continent to continent, but that is not what the flight patterns show.
You can see that on the supposed flat earth map, that the planes flight paths do not appear as straight lines from one continent to another, but that they curve north around the supposed flat earth, just like I said.
Paul Raines proclaims that there are no flights over southern hemisphere oceans, but notice how his image is so dark that you can’t see the flights.
But when the image is larger and highlighted, you can clearly see the long flight paths from one southern continent to another, over the southern hemisphere oceans.
And they appear curved on the supposed flat earth map, just like I said they would.
As you can see, what Paul said about airplane flights on the flat earth model is wrong.
That is either a lack of integrity from a troll, or just ignorance; because you can see the long flight paths over southern hemisphere oceans; and you can see that they match up with the flights shown on a Mercator globe map.
He is clearly misleading people; either out of ignorance, and on purpose by using a dark image that hides the flights over the southern hemisphere oceans.
Flat earthers deny flights over the oceans in the southern hemisphere, because the flight times and distances prove that the earth is a globe.
Commercial pilots like Wolfie6020 on YouTube fly from Australia, so he knows what the flight paths and flight times are; and he knows that the earth is a globe.
On this page Mick West of Metabunk debunks the Flat Earth Theory with flights (QF27 & QF28) From Australia to South America.
All you have to do is use a flight tracker like Flight Aware, to see the length of time of miles, of flights in the Southern Hemisphere; to see that it’s impossible to fly that distance on a flat earth.
Tools like Flight Aware and Flight Radar 24 provide all the information that is needed to prove that the earth is not flat.
Last night I used FlightRadar24.com to track a flight from Santiago, Chile to Auckland, New Zealand. You can see the curved flight path over the South Pacific ocean.
The distance is 6,011 miles, the average travel time is 11:44; which is impossible on the flat earth model.
If someone is searching for the truth, they can find it; but flat earthers can’t admit one bit of evidence, as it might shatter their beliefs.
